Multi option kiwifruit development
This 24.2 hectare (more or less) platform has been developed into four 6 hectare blocks of kiwifruit comprising of 21.6 can/ha of Bruno rootstock, and this layout with a driveway through the middle of the orchard on a separate title has been set up with possible future subdivision in place. The row spacings are 3.5 x 5mtrs with double planted female rows, quality No.1 strainers and deadman tie backs with No.2 quarter round posts and the ends of rows are cabled with eight wires per row guaranteeing excellent fruit support. There will be fast-track shelter to be completed by settlement every four rows and six metre artificial will be every eight rows North/South and at 90 metre intervals running East/West. The plants are lovingly grown in the nursery nearby and the spring planted vines with plenty of irrigation water, up to 15 litres per vine are responding well. The new bore on the property is capable of providing 7.5 litres/second and a good consent is in place until 2029. The water supply is in joint ownership with the neighbouring property being 70/30 split in favour of the subject property. The water supply is set up electronically and can be mobile phone activated. This is an impressive horticulture property and would be a great proposition for trusts, syndicates and astute investors. Call me today for more information.
