Alongside wife Taryn and their two young boys, the hard decision was made to relocate to New Zealand and settle in a part of the country they had grown to love – Papamoa Beach. It didn’t take long to form new long-lasting relationships in their new community and immerse themselves in the Kiwi lifestyle through neighbourhood gatherings, school, sports and the great outdoors. Glen focussed on obtaining his NZ Real Estate Qualifications and joined Quintin & Janelle Havenga as Sales Associate to Team Q - Ray White Papamoa in 2019. Adding another dimension to Team Q’s already impressive profile, Glen’s ability to go to considerable lengths to manage, support and communicate with the Team’s client base is a genuine recognisable strength. A love of sports sees this athletic father of Tyler and Cade coaching touch rugby and cricket or playing golf, surfing, fishing or running. Glen was also the Mastermind behind the highly successful Team Q “King of the Kayaks” fishing competition off the beach at Motiti Reserve in 2021 – The inaugural event to be a yearly staple on the calendar for a steadily growing recreational activity in the Bay.
